ABS is a plastic material with numerous applications. This is one of the most common materials used in the production of car elements, car equipment and parts of household appliances. It is strong and easy to handle. It is also characterized by good mechanical properties – tensile strength and resistance to scratch as well as oils, fats and some dilute acids.
M-ABS is a modified version of ABS plastic. With a reduced butadiene content, it has a lower shrinkage material and a less intense aroma during processing than usual ABS. The toughness is lower than the standard ABS material but still approx. 3 times the PLA material. In addition, reduced shrinkage material allows the construction of large pieces in the absence of deformation and delamination of the material.
HIPS is polystyrene resistant to dynamic loads. This material combines ease of printing comparable to PLA with a higher strength characteristic of ABS material. HIPS material is recommended for large size prints due to the negligible shrinkage material. An additional advantage of this material is very good representation of the surface and details thanks to the matte finish construction elements.
H-WOOD is a composite material consisting of wood powder and PLA. Easiness of building models is as high as in the case of pure PLA. The main advantage of the material is the final visual effect built models that characterize the natural color of dark wood. Interestingly, the material can be machined and painted like natural wood.
H-GLASS is material known of strong interlayer cohesion. Elements printed of this material are characterized by a high resistance to dynamic loads. Due to the lack of additional dye it has a high transparency. In addition, the material is harmless when in contact with food and has a very low moisture absorption.
