What is HIPS?

HIPS is polystyrene resistant to dynamic loads. This material combines ease of printing comparable to PLA with a higher strength characteristic of ABS material. HIPS material is recommended for large size prints due to the negligible shrinkage material. An additional advantage of this material is very good representation of the surface and details thanks to the matte finish construction elements.

This material is specially designed for your printer. By combining the properties of PLA and ABS – HIPS is an interesting alternative for applications requiring combination of features of these materials.
